I have been struggling with the structure of my script and were to place serten events to keep the audience hooked. After doing some research I found this I thought it was really helpful and inspiring. From this I will go back to my script and try and get the audience hooked straight away. I will also work down this list I found and follow it and use it in my own script work.

I found this and thought it was really interesting and could really help me a lot. For example it could help me plan out what will happen in each of the scene in the script and to get a clear view in what will happen and how to work around any problems before I probably write my script.
Good resources, Poppy, showing key ‘beats’ in conventional story structure. Note that this is typical of a feature film, however — don’t try to hit all of these exactly, especially in a short film, where you have much more freedom to play with time, space and expectations! The key thing that carries over is a sense of escalation, of events building up, of difficulties being faced and lessons learned.
